This question always comes up: Can I miss a class? Of course the answer is both yes and no. You absolutely cannot miss the last (Saturday) class. Period. End of statement. You can miss one other class but you'll need to study that section on your own and be prepared to take a "make-up" test to make sure you understand that section. However it is not recommended that you miss the first week either.

Can you take part of one session and then the next? Technically yes but you will miss out on the camaradie you will build with your team mates.

Can you provide training at my location?

If you can provide a facility and at least a dozen students, contact us at Info@NaperCERT.org and we can try and work something out. We have successful with local training sometimes but not others. Note that it does require a significant commitment on both your location and our local instructors. Is there a fee for hosting? No, but you do need to allow the general public to also participate.

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) class registration

The City of Naperville offers its Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) classes to residents and those who work in Naperville. The free classes will take place in Naperville. NOTE: If you live in a nearby town, you can participate in the class on a space available basis.

The classes generally are 5 Wednesday Evenings (6:45-9:45), and a Saturday (8am-3:30pm)

All forms are due three weeks before the start of the first class for each session.

Participants must be 18 years of age and must either live or be employed in the City of Naperville (See the NOTE above). Participants under 18 can only attend with their parent or guardian.
